Terry is an HP Consultant by weekday, boudior photographer on other days. If you do not know what boudior means, you have never been in a lady’s private bedroom before have you?
To define Boudior Photography, the genius we know as wikipedia says – “The most common manifestation of contemporary boudoir photography is to take variations of candid and posed photographs of the subject partly clothed or in lingerie. Nudity is more often implied than explicit. Commercially the genre is often (though not exclusively) derived from a market for brides to surprise their future husbands by gifting the images on or before their wedding day.”
He is widely awarded on pixoto.com and as he has been known to say, his photos are a “nice way to start the day”. He is also featured in pinoymodelo.com where you can find his contact details and know more about his work.
Of all his photos, it’s this one I like best only because we look like sisters from another mother. Yes, I promise you, we do.
I asked him a few questions about his inspiration in the work that he does. here are his answers.
What according to you, is the purpose of your existence? What do you think you are here on earth to do?
The purpose of ones’ existence that life is an illusion. It is what you make it.
As Ingmar Bergman said
“We are born without purpose, we live without meaning, and when we die we are extinguished.”
What made you decide that this is the thing that you love to do? When did you realize it?
Photography is just one of the things I love to do. Doing photography required all my knowledge, skills, intuition and artistic side. It seemed to me until then this had been merely a preparation for this creative hobby, and it draw my focus, experience abilities and knowledge. I was excited by the whole process and fulfilled when it was completed.
What is your favourite saying, or piece of poetry, or book? May be something that you turn to when you are low on inspiration.
“This too shall pass”
What words of advice would you give to an aspiring photographer just starting out?
Breathe and trust that you can overcome any trials. Trust that this burden thrown upon you is part of the process you must go thru. Trust and believe that as long as you don’t give up and keep your focus to push on ahead, no matter how bad things seem, you will make it…because sometimes you have to go through this, worst and baldest situation, but in the end you can make it…so just hang on and don’t give up on your dreams yet, this too shall pass.
What do you think is your best work yet or that is the best representation of you?
My best work so far is my relationship to God, family and my children. (OMG best answer ever!)
